Greenock Healthy Smoothie

  • 35-40 grams of spinach
  • Half ripe banana
  • 1 generous spoonful of almond butter (or other dried fruit)
  • 200 milliliters of almond milk (or other vegetable milk)
  • 1 pitted date or 1 teaspoon of maple syrup
  • 3-4 ice cubes (optional)


Step 1

Usually, I prefer to freeze bananas cut into quarters, instead of using ice, because I like the smoothie fresh (otherwise with the heat of the blades it tends to become lukewarm and in my opinion makes it less), but you can do as you prefer!

Step 2

Put all the ingredients in a blender, being careful to put ice or frozen bananas near the blades.

Step 3

Then blend until everything is blended! With my blender I have the appropriate option for smoothies and it takes about 1 minute.

Step 4
